100 Boys of Code tech camp w/ @kickinitwithkeion

June 26, 2017

This week Keion Williams ( @kickinitwithkeion) got a chance to participate in tech Camp with 100 boys of Codes.

100 Boys of Code is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to expose more boys to code and computer technology at  a young age.  We inspire boys (ages 7 to 17), particularly minority males, to pursue a future in STEM by educating and exposing them to opportunities in tech fields.  Our facilitators are committed to providing personal instruction & mentoring in an engaging, supportive, and empowering atmosphere.  We only require our boys to utilize their natural curiosity; no previous coding knowledge is required.

They partnered with The Geek Squad from Best Buys and put on a well organized, well attended and full of information and FUN workshop. Boys and Girls too.... (100 Girls of Code Conyers) from ages 10 - 17 came out to this FREE event and went home with a great deal of information and fun from 2 days.

100 Boys of Code generally meets on the third Sunday of each month for a Super Sunday STEM Workshop.  Our next workshop will be on Sunday, July 16th from 2:00 – 6:00 at 2667 Highway 42 North, McDonough, GA 30253.

This is a fabulous organization. Visit their website at, Follow them on Twitter and make a donation to help support our boys and girls of code.
